Yes, journalism isn't poetry, but Matt Tiabbi can really turn a phrase when he's in a mood!

Please shine a light on the WHO pandemic treaty which the US has said it will sign in May of 2024. It apparently transfers power for declaring pandemics to an unelected international organization with sketchy funding. This treaty, as I understand it, would allow a non-national organization to declare vaccine mandates and lockdowns in the US. We need reporting on this issue! Thanks for your work!

When journalists can truly report from an unbiased perspective, then will it develop and support critical thinking from the public. But human journalists and their human listeners/ readers have beliefs, prejudices, and emotions; so maybe it’s a goal for each individual to become clear of their issues and biases.

The one disagreement I have with Greenwald in this soliloquy he delivered is that he said "journalism is not art."

I agree that journalism is not poetry, and must have an impact on the current body politic to be worth anything. But such an impact IS, in fact, ART, in my view, as defined by my favorite artist of all time Joseph Beuys.

Beuys is known for his "extended definition of art" in something he called "social sculpture" This artform, Beuys postulated, could potentially reshape society and politics.

Beuys said EVERYONE is an artist, and the only question is whether the art one is creating is good or bad.

Besides this one minor disagreement, I find everything else Greenwald says to be beyond brilliant.
