By the way, in 2020 I realized I needed to better understand these issues in order to respond to nonsense like Butler's so I took a class called The Biology of the Immune System at IPAK-edu.org. It's where all the revolutionaries are going to get a college-level education on all the things we're going to need to know in the next several years.

OMG, I remember when I first encountered her on Mother Jones (an outlet I USED TO revere). I think it was 2011 or 2012, and she had written a blatantly propaganda piece (her debut article for MJ, if memory serves) shilling for Monsanto about the "benefits" of GMOs, and then dismissing and attempting to discredit all the critics' counter-arguments. The day I realized she had become a regular contributor was the day I cancelled my subscription to Mother Jones. IMO she's not a dupe, she's a shill on the payrolls of BigAg and BigPharma.

It is beyond disturbing to see someone from Mother Jones--a mag I used to consider a journal that dug deep to find the "truth"--spreading such lies. Some people I feel sincerely believe the misinformation they are spreading but this woman appears to be simply enjoying any poisonous lies she is able spread, even when she is capable of knowing that her "facts?" conflict with other "facts?" in the same article. What kind of journalist is that? And this becomes even more disturbing when the people who are looking to Kiera Butler for "fact?" don't appear to be concerned about her lack of ethical behavior... It does hurt to see those who value the truth and the right to speak truth trampled on by those with such lack of integrity.
So many originally truthful media that did honest exposures of wrongdoing have been infiltrated and taken over by defenders of the empire and its projects, in other words agents of the ruling class. Time for us to reverse that trend, don't you think?
